Think health, fitness and wellbeing … then step back 1000 years! No fancy machines, no technical gear and absolutely no fancy You Tube workout videos. Tree trunks, muddy paths and ice cold rivers are all we need on the mountain – are you up for the challenge?
what's the story?
Wild boars life if the brain child of our great friend and true Novanta rockstar Bas Meijerink.
“Ever since I was a kid I’ve loved to recharge in nature. And no matter how much I like city life is, spending active time in nature is a healthy counterpart of an urban lifestyle. Coming back so revitalized, feeling completely alive, is not only valuable, it always make me so much more productive and creative. That’s why I can’t live without my shot of nature.
My goal is to share this experience with other people, which seems even more relevant in society nowadays. People seem to long for a simplicity that can only be found in nature. This is where Wild Boars comes in.
Wild boar is a symbol of abundance, courage and (group) strength. During Wild Boars people are faced with the challenges and abundance of life in the valley, and by doing so strenghtening their physical, mental and intellectual fitness. A full nature recharge for fast-paced urban people.” Bas

“In this abandoned Tuscan valley a rural transformation is taking place. -and we invite you to be part of it! Get inspired by organic farming, local food culture and sustainable entrepreneurship while working remotely and enjoying a lifestyle of natural simplicity.
This is the place where we build our brand new medieval gym, to practice rural calisthenics, using natural materials such as wood and steep slopes. Getting active to increase our physical health and fitness.” Bas Meijerink
