At Novanta we have a room to suit every size of family, from studios to sleep just one or two, up to large suites for four or five guests. All of our bedrooms have been maintained in the Traditional Tuscan style with stone walls and tiles floors – with a little bit of eclectic Novanta design thrown in for good measure! The huge thick original stone walls create spacious, airy and cool in spaces in summer, and keep lovely and cosy in winter. Every room boasts its own identity and views of the forest or the valley below – all of which have their own bathroom with a shower and a toilet.
our houses
La Fattoria – our traditional Tuscan farmhouse has been renovated to accommodate one studio, two large studios, two suites and one large suite under one grand roof, along with communal restaurant, sitting room with huge fireplace, and of course the all important honesty bar. It is situated on the highest point of our little village of Borgo di Gello. The surroundings of la Fattoria consist of our ancient terrace overlooking the valley of Gello, small theater where we host our movie nights and an infinity swimming pool and bar.
Il Casale is our second largest farmhouse sitting right in the middle of our village – where you will find one of our three working wood fired ovens, fully stocked honesty bar and beautiful terrace, along with one studio, one large studio, and two suites. Casale is the home of our infamous pizza nights and cosy wine bar.
Our newly beautifully converted Il Grifo is nestled at the lowest point of our village, and boasts one suite, three large suites and a large studio room, along with lots of lovely spots to read a book in a hammock or drink a glass of wine on the terrace.
Scattered around our village, our cottages are perfect for families or a romantic getaway. These cottages are totally independent buildings which have their own private terrace and or small garden.
Another very special accomodation is our Treehouse sitting in the arms of an ancient oak tree. Pull up a bottle of wine with the (Ice) bucket-on-pulley and watch fire flies from your bed. Or how about our brand new Skylodge with incredible glass ceiling where you can literally sleep under the stars in luxurious warmth and comfort!
