The program
One valley. 5 unforgettable days.
The standard program is fully self-contained. Accommodation, all meals, house wine, beer and guided experiences are included from the moment your group arrives to the moment you leave. Everything tastes better in the Casentino.
Day 1
The Taste of Tuscany
Aperitivo: The fire pits are burning. The first bottles of Chianti Classico are uncorked, accompanied by local cheeses.
Pizza Night: Authentic pizzas from the wood-fired oven.
Closing by the large campfire with ice-cold Limoncello.
Day 2
Craftsmanship, Wood & Chianina
Salsiccia Workshop: Getting your hands dirty with meat at Fabrizio’s. Head-to-tail butchering with meat from the Grigio del Casentino pig.
Woodworking Workshop in ‘De Den’: Under the guidance of the craftsman, you will work with local wood to make your own Tagliere (serving board) for home.
Wellness: Relaxation in the wood-fired hot tub and the invigorating cold water bath.
The Butcher’s Dinner: An ode to the region with the legendary Bistecca Chianina from the grill, Fabrizio’s sausages and chops, served with a powerful, aged Barolo.
Day 3
The Peaks of the Apennines
Full Day | E-MTB Tour: Ride an electric mountain bike through the rugged Apennines with an experienced guide. Challenging yet accessible.
Lunch | La Verna: A rustic stop at a hidden mountain hut near the famous monastery for an authentic mountain meal.
Evening | A lighter, seasonal meal to give the muscles a rest, naturally accompanied by matching wines.
Day 4
Culinary Gold & Pittcooking
Truffle Hunt: Head into the forest with Nicola and his dogs. The thrill of the find is unparalleled.
Pittcooking: The found truffles go straight over the open fire. A raw, outdoor culinary experience.
Free time to enjoy the tranquility of the valley.
Grand Finale: An elaborate 5-course gastronomic farewell dinner featuring the best wines from the cellar one last time.
Day 5
The Last Espresso
A quiet final breakfast on the terrace (or by the fireplace), a final good espresso, and departure.
