We are looking for a versatile and hands-on “Tuttofare” to join our operational hospitality team. In this dynamic position, you will assist across multiple areas – from pool shifts to kitchen support, from guiding activities to logistical planning and driving.

This is a key role for the smooth running of our hotel: we are looking for someone who enjoys working in different areas, is flexible, and ready to pitch in wherever needed.

Your responsibilities
  • Supporting pool operations and daily cleaning duties;
  • Assisting in the kitchen and food & beverage service;
  • Guiding and supervising guests in activities;
  • Supporting logistical and operational planning;
  • Driving guests or materials as needed.

After more than 30 years of caring for the Gello Valley, our beloved Tommi is retiring. We are therefore looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable gardener to take over this important role and help preserve the beauty of Borgo di Gello and Castello di Gello.

This is a central and meaningful position: we’re looking for someone who loves working outdoors, cares deeply about nature, and wants to be part of maintaining a truly special place.

Your responsibilities
  • Daily maintenance of outdoor areas around Borgo di Gello and Castello di Gello;
  • Care of our two vegetable gardens: planting, watering, harvesting and seasonal upkeep;
  • Managing the chicken coop and animal care (cleaning, feeding, egg collection);
  • Grass cutting, path maintenance, and upkeep of terraces and common areas;
  • Pruning, plant care, and weed control;
  • Basic maintenance of garden tools and machinery;
  • Coordination with maintenance and hospitality teams when needed;
  • Supporting the setup of outdoor areas for weddings and events.
Who you are
  • Native Italian speaker (required);
  • Experience in gardening, horticulture or groundskeeping;
  • Physically capable of working outdoors year-round;

Your Responsibilities
  • Managing daily accounting tasks (invoices, payments, bank reconciliation, expense tracking);
  • Monitoring deadlines for outgoing payments;
  • Supporting monthly financial reporting and analysis;
  • Cost monitoring and maintaining internal financial systems;
  • Communicating with suppliers and partners on administrative matters;
  • Organising digital and physical archives;

Novanta is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Housekeeper & Breakfast Assistant to join our hospitality team.
In this role, you will work closely with our Head of Housekeeping Svetlana to ensure that our rooms, shared spaces, and the village surroundings look immaculate every single day. You will also help prepare and host the breakfast buffet, creating a warm start of the day for our guests.

This position is ideal for someone who loves structure and organisation, has an eye for detail, enjoys creating a beautiful atmosphere, and feels comfortable interacting with guests.

Your responsibilities
  • Daily cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, suites and apartments;
  • Maintaining all shared spaces, terraces, and public areas;
  • Supporting with overall upkeep of the surrounding village areas to keep Novanta looking its best;
  • Preparing, maintaining and replenishing the breakfast buffet;
  • Welcoming guests in the morning and engaging with them about their plans, needs and feedback;
  • Spotting improvement opportunities in rooms (missing items, décor updates, maintenance needs);
  • Light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, refreshing rooms, preparing linen, etc.;
  • Supporting Svetlana in planning and structuring the daily housekeeping workflow;
  • Ensuring all spaces meet Novanta’s hospitality standards;
  • Working collaboratively with the wider hospitality team.
Who you are
  • Italian speaker (mandatory) &intermediate English;
  • Experience in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus;

You will work closely with our Head chef Maurizio, and the rest of the kitchen crew to create honest, delicious dishes inspired by la cucina povera and the flavors of Tuscany.
This role is perfect for someone who cares about high-quality ingredients, enjoys working in a dynamic environment, and loves cooking for a vibrant community of guests from all over the world.

Your responsibilities
  • Preparing lunch and dinner for up to 120–150 inhouse guests;
  • Menu execution and contribution to menu planning;
  • Daily mise en place and preparation of dishes;
  • Production of food items for our Novanta “merch corner” (sauces, pickles, oils, etc.);
  • Maintaining kitchen standards according to HACCP guidelines;
  • Stock rotation, inventory, and ordering support;
  • Ensuring a clean, organized and safe workspace;
  • Preparing breakfasts and aperitivo when needed;
  • Working collaboratively with the full F&B team.
