We could tell you stories about the ancient inhabitants of Gello, hunting wild boar with a bow and arrow … but this is not why we practice archery here on the mountain. We do this because it’s fun. Simple! 

Paolo, one of our neighbours from the Mulino in the bottom of the valley, is an expert archer, and even makes his own bows and arrows! He taught us all we need to know about the sport, and now we want to share this knowledge with you. 

We start with learning all about how to hold the bow, which eye to use and how to aim. Then the fun starts … lots of flying arrows and searching in the bushes. But hey, that’s what holidays are for right?
